Treaty Seven Land Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge the traditional territories and oral practices of the Blackfoot Nations, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai. We also acknowledge the Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3) and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. We are making this acknowledgement to further demonstrate our commitment to work together as a community in laying the foundation for reconciliation through education.

As an evangelizing school division, in partnership with the family, we will deliver an authentic Catholic learning experience by creating a foundation of faith and knowledge in a warm, caring environment to guide all students to appreciate the goodness of all creation and to meet the challenges of life with hope and confidence.

Vision

The truth of Christ and knowledge of God’s creation will be experienced by and manifest in the students, staff, parents and supporters of our Catholic School Community.
